1497 Pitstop and Crew is a Town set released in 1987 as part of the Race line. It contains a pitstop with two minifigures, a car and several equipment parts.

- On this set's box art, one of the minifigure's legs is backwards, making him appear to be kneeling. This was later deemed incorrect and never used again.
