The 14 Karat Gold Brick is an extremely rare set given out by LEGO in the early eighties. It contains a single part, a 14-karat solid gold brick.
Description[edit | edit source]
The brick itself is a single 2X4 brick, made of pure gold. It is set in a black plastic case, with the LEGO Logo embossed on it in golden letters.
Background[edit | edit source]
The set was given out in the early eighties to employees who had worked at the Hohenwestedt, Germany LEGO factory for over twenty-five years, and to some of LEGO's business partners of the time.
