261 VW Beetle is a System i Leg HO 1:87 Vehicles set first released in 1958. It was in production from 1963 until 1964 as 261 VW Beetle + Showroom. In 1963 the showroom was changed and the piece count went from four to three.

- The VW Beetle in this set has a smaller back window compared to set 260 VW Beetle.
- Set numbers 260, 261 and 661 were made of transparent plastic and were painted after moulding.
