30196 Shell F1 Team is a Ferrari promotional polybag set that was released on September 10, 2012 exclusively in Hong Kong and Macau. It was later released in Malaysia on November 8, 2012. It was also later sold in the Philippines from October 29, 2012 until December 31, 2012 and Czech Republic and Slovak Republic from June 3, 2013 until August 4, 2013. During summer 2013, in Bulgaria, there was a promotion where if you spent more than 5 Lev at a Shell gas station market, you could buy the set for another 5 Lev.

The set comes with three minifigures: a Ferrari Race Mechanic, a Ferrari Refueling Engineer and a Shell Track Scientist.
The Ferrari Race Machanic has his helmet, torso, arms, hips and legs in red. He also has a yellow head with a smiling face and yellow hands. He has a sticker on his torso printed with a Shell logo. He comes with a trolley.
The Ferrari Refueling Engineer has the same hairpiece as Green Lantern. He has his torso, arms, hips and legs in red. He also has a yellow head with a smiling face and yellow hands. He has a sticker on his torso printed with a Shell logo. He comes with a mobile refuelling unit.
The Shell Track Scientist has the same hairpiece as the Nurse. She has her torso and arms in white. Her hips and legs are black. She also has a yellow head with a smiling face and yellow hands. She has a sticker on her torso printed with a white laboratory jacket with four pockets and a Shell logo over a red clothing. She comes with a laboratory rock and multiple Shell fuel samples.
