4999 Vestas Wind Turbine is a Town set released in 2008. It contains a wind turbine on top of a small house and a van with 3 minifigures.
The set is motorized with Power Functions so that it actually spins. It is a limited edition set released in conjunction with Vestas, a wind power company.
Background[edit | edit source]
The model is based on the V90-3.0 MW turbine distributed by Vestas. The set itself has a maintenance van that is used to fix the wind turbines. The company is Danish so LEGO picked it because LEGO is Danish as well.
