5004 Motor Keys is a Service Packs set released in 1987. It contains two red wind-up keys that fit into 890 Wind-Up Motor to wind it. It is equivalent to the set 1205 2 Keys for wind-up motor.
Notes[edit | edit source]
- The key was often the first part to break, because of the torque needed to wind the motor. Therefore this replacement set was released one year after the motor.
- The shape of the junction of the key with the motor is based on a square section on the motor, but the key has a star section (combination of two squares rotated of 45 degrees) to allow easier insertion, every 45 degrees.
