6490 Amazon Crossing is an Outback set released in 1997. It consists of a piece of river surrounded by potentially deadly terrain, as indicated by the skull and bones. The river is spanned by a simple bridge consisting of ladder pieces, which, as the off-road truck crosses, typically contort and move, making the crossing more difficult. The set also includes a Crocodile, an animal found throughout the rivers of northern Australia.
