6508 Wave Racer is a LEGO Town set released in 1990. It contains a racing airboat with a pilot.
Notes[edit | edit source]
- The boat is labeled with the number "2".
- The pilot included is equipped with a life vest.
- The airboat is a unique design that never appeared again and no other contemporary sets featured similar racing airboats. 6513 Glade Runner from 1993 included another airboat which rather resembled a swamp boat such as the one from 6563 Gator Landing (1996). 1362 Air Boat (2001) also featured a different design.
