6553 Crisis News Crew is a LEGO Town Outback set released in 1997. It contains a van, a helicopter, two cameras, a pilot, a cameraman and a female news anchor. This is a very rare set and is very hard to find, even online. The primary focus of this set was to create a news crew to film and report off-road racing in the LEGO Outback.

- The van has a satellite dish mounted on its roof. The anchorwoman has a microphone. A floodlight is also included.
