Behind the pilot's seat is a large compartment that is open to the left. From a winch at the inside runs a rope over an extendable arm next to the large door.
The helicopter is labeled with the registration number "LL-KPL" and features a lifepreserver logo on its sides. One of the minifigures wears a life vest, which was not a dedicated piece but just a generic rectangular vest common to the 1980s.
- The lifepreserver logo could be a predecessor to the later Coast Guard logo introduced with 6387 Coastal Rescue Base in 1989, which would make this the first Coast Guard rescue helicopter.
