8866 Train Motor is a Trains set released in 2009. It is used for motorization of RC and Power Functions based Trains.
Notes[edit | edit source]
- According to a discussion on Lowlug, the motor has been redesigned for more power and Power Functions socket compatibility for Power Function based Trains; thus eliminating the need for a 9V to Power Functions connecting wire. The re-designed motor will be integrated in the first completely Power Functions based Trains sets released in 2010.
