Ambush Bug is a character who appears in LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham.^[1]

Background[edit | edit source]

To protect his wardrobe from being destroyed with the death of his planet, Brum-El casts it out into space. It is intercepted by a space spider and only two articles of clothing survive: A green bodysuit that resembles a bug, and gaudy sock. The bodysuit grafts itself to the body of an unidentified, but mentally unstable, man, turning him into the Ambush Bug. Ambush Bug initially aims to become a villain, but he later reforms and the owner of the sock, Argh!Yle!, becomes his arch nemesis. He has teamed up with Batman and Superman in the past.
