The Bloody Baron is the ghost of Slytherin house in Harry Potter. There is not a minifigure of him, but he is seen and is playable on the games LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4 and LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7.
Background[edit | edit source]
The Bloody Baron has been around Hogwarts a little bit after Godric Gryffindor's time. It seems he is one of the first students to come to Hogwarts and probably Salazar Slytherin’s son. He is one out of the four ghosts (himself, Nearly Headless Nick, The Grey Lady, and The Fat Friar) to appear in the Harry Potter line, not counting Peeves and Moaning Myrtle. He greets the Slytherins during the Sorting at the beginning of every year, just like Nearly Headless Nick greets the Gryffindors.
In the Video Games[edit | edit source]
- The Bloody Baron is an unlockable character on both console and windows versions of LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4 and Years 5-7.
- Like all ghosts on the game, the Bloody Baron can scream. The scream can freeze any people around it but the freeze eventually wears off after about five to seven seconds.
Appearances[edit | edit source]
Notes[edit | edit source]
- His face is similar to Panama Hat Man from Indiana Jones and Fishmonger from Batman, but with the hat that is same as the Musketeer from the Minifigures theme and Hector Barbossa from Pirates of the Caribbean.
- In the Nintendo DS version of LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4, he helps the player pass Argus Filch during the second year.
