Hello everyone. I'm running for the 2014 Brickimedia Board representing Brickipedia because of what I feel I can contribute to Brickimedia, and for my long-running dedication to the site. For Brickipedia alone, I've been working tirelessly to make it a better place with both internal and external growth. One of the most recent things I've been doing for Brickipedia is to get it supported and recognised by the LEGO Group. I've also worked with Brickimedia's external relations, and will soon work on contacting other online LEGO fan communities into publicising Brickimedia for its official launch. I have good knowledge of the US legal system, and I'm taking classes to continue learning more in that area. I have experience working with communities for several years, and even though my most active wiki is Brickipedia EN, I have shown no neglect to other Brickimedia projects. I always do what I can to help other projects out, and am very active globally on Brickimedia. I hope these reasons alone are enough of a reason for me to be a member of the Brickimedia Board.   • Meiko, you'll probably notice I didn't support you. In a way, I guess it is an oppose. It's nothing personal at all, I'm sure you'd do well on the board. But I'd like the powers to be more evenly distributed, which is why I chose not to run for board myself. Being that you have sysadmin rights, I would rather you didn't have these rights as well. You're one of the main developers here, and you already have a lot of responsibility. While I believe you could handle it, and that we wouldn't run into any issues, I would still like the power to be spread among more people. Hopefully you understand. :) Drew1200 (talk)
    • I was actually going to leave the sysadmin team soon, just so you know. I'd rather do board/financial, since it actually involves working closer with communities, and sysadmin has been rather obnoxious as of late. And in the event if I weren't elected onto Board, I'd probably just request addition to the Financial team, leave the sysadmin team, and just continue to work on local communities. --ToaMeiko (talk) 03:34, 22 December 2013 (UTC)
      • That's sad to hear, but completely understandable. You'd do great in both areas, but I think you're more needed as a sysadmin. Still, I'd be willing to support you as soon as that happens. :) Drew1200 (talk)
