- July 25: LEGO releases the first Hero Factory comic at the Hero Factory website which replaces the previous BIONICLE comics.
- July 24: LEGO has announced a new video game for the 3DS in 2011 at E3 2010.
- July 21: Lego Brings a LEGO Jack Sparrow to Comic-Con and places it in the Prince of Persia case.
- July 15: The LEGO Store in Austin, TX, USA opens.
- July 11: Hero Factory sets have been spotted on the LEGOshop@home website.
- July 2: A 2011 set has been announced in the summer 2010 LEGO Shop Catolog.
- July 2: The latest LEGO Catologue has been released, featuring the new 10213 Shuttle Adventure on the cover.
- July 1: LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4 is now available at LEGO shop@home.
- June 30: LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4 is now in Australian stores.
- June 29: LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4 is now in US stores.
- June 25: LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4 is now in UK stores.
- June 25: LEGO is hosting a contest for the US LEGO Holiday Catalog. Entries can be sent in now through August. The creations must be under 100 parts. More information here.
- June 23: LEGO launches a Harry Potter teaser website.
- June 22: The Hero Factory website has been updated.
- June 20: Six Hero Factory sets are available for purchase on the Toys 'R' Us website.
- June 18: Several Hero Factory sets are discovered in stores in Virginia, USA.
- June 16: LEGO announces the game LEGO Universe to be released on October 26 2010.

- April 2: A LEGO-based summer camp is announced to open this summer.
- March 26: A new LEGO Store opens in Houston
- March 22: Prince of Persia sets are now listed on the LEGO Shop.

- March 20: The Daily Mirror, a newspaper in the UK, launches a LEGO Racers promotion. There are 6 Tiny Turbo-like cars to collect. You need to buy the newspaper each day between March 20-26 inclusive to get a voucher you can redeem at a selected toy shop in the UK. Each day features a different voucher and a different toy to get. The three daily newspapers after that will include a voucher for a cardboard carry case, a playmat and a sticker sheet. (Both are included in the newspaper for that day and you don't get vouchers for them.)

- March 7: The website for LEGOLAND Florida has been launched.
- March 5: 7684 Pig Farm & Tractor has been officially released.
- The Prince of Persia Teaser Website was released.
- February 24: All LEGO Stores in Germany are including a LEGO Creator parrot, when any LEGO item is bought.
- February 23: LEGO: The Adventures of Clutch Powers is officially released.
- February 19: Although sheduled to be released on February 23th, LEGO: The Adventures of Clutch Powers begin to appear in stores.

- February 4: The Canadian Toy Fair has revealed several August, 2010 sets, including City, Star Wars, Hero Factory, and Prince of Persia [1].

- 8077 Atlantis Exploration HQ is nominated for the ToyAward 2010 in the category "Games + Action" at the official opening ceremony of the 60th International Toy Fair Nürnberg in Germany. More about ToyInnovation and the toy fair on the official website.
- 8 new LEGO Games in 2010 are announced by the Central European CEO, Dirk Engehausen, at the International Toy Fair Nürnberg

- A pre-sale for LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4 has been sited at Toys-"R"-Us' in the US, though no specific date can be found. [2]

- January 24: LEGO Atlantis: The Movie premiered on German TV.
- January 23: A website for the upcoming movie LEGO: The Adventures of Clutch Powers is released.

- BIONICLE.com is updated to fit the 2010 style of the Bionicle Stars.
- A few LEGO Atlantis images for summer 2010 have been discovered. [3]
- January 13: A LEGO University is being made in Billund, Denmark, to create a university-like environment for those who want an education to develop educational resources. [4]
- January 11: Joystiq.com released a trailer for the LEGO Universe game coming out in Fall 2010.
- January 5: Ben10.lego.com, Toy Story.lego.com, Atlantis.lego.com, Powerminers.lego.com and Spacepolice.lego.com are updated to fit the 2010 style.
- January 4: LEGO Toy Story and Atlantis commercials have aired on televisions in the US.
- January 3: A new Star Wars UCS set (Item Number 10212) is rumored to be released, with images of animated minifigures from Hong Kong. [5] More sets have also been found, including a new AT-AT Walker.

- LEGO Universe is alpha-released, it can be downloaded with a special access code given out per mail.
- December 6: Brickipedia's 5000th article has been created!
- December 2: The Bionicle Stars and LEGO Atlantis are now available on LEGO Shop.com.
- November 26: In cooperation with the Japanese retailer Muji, LEGO test launches a new product line in Japan. [7]
- November 24: Bionicle is announced to end in Summer 2010.
- November 14: Bionicle Stars sets spread out in stores.
- November 10: Teaser Websites of Atlantis and Ben 10 released.
- November 3: LEGO Rock Band released.
- October 9: First pictures of the new LEGO Ben 10 line are released on Amazon.com.
- October 3: LEGO announces 10210 Imperial Flagship at BrickCon 2009 and also released several pictures of the set [8], which is slated for release in January 2010.
