Use common sense - If something seems like a stupid thing to do, don't do it. If you are worried that your actions will offend another user, they most likely will. If you think something would be a good idea, then try it.

Additionally, if policies, i.e. the Manual of Style, prevents you from improving or maintaining Brickipedia, ignore it. Common sense overrides these guidelines; you can ignore them as long as you have a reasonable explanation for your actions.
