Brickipedia:User rights/Requests
Noticeboard - Block - Chat ban appeals - Deletion - Incidents - Protect - User right requests |
Brickipedia's user rights request is the page where users can be nominated for special rights, including becoming a patroller or an administrator. A full list of each of the functions a user right has access to can be found at Special:ListGroupRights.
To prevent excessive nominations, there is an edit and time requirement to be nominated for each right. If a user requests rights but does not meet these requirements, the nomination will be considered invalid. If a user has more than one account, the edits on the other account(s) do not count towards their edit count.
User Group | Edits Required for Nomination | Time on Brickipedia Required for Nomination |
Administrator | 500 content namespace edits | 3 months |
Patroller | 250 | 10 Days |
To be eligible to vote in a request for rights, you must have made at least 50 mainspace edits to this wiki.
There is an archive here for requests.
Patroller requests[edit source]
To file a request, place the following code under the "current requests" header, below any existing requests.
===replace this with your username - Patroller=== {{Rfr/1|replace this with your username}} Replace this with a brief blurb about why you are requesting the right here. ~~~~ ===Verdict===
Patroller rights are judged by an administrator, who will either mark the request with {{done}} or {{not done}}.
If a user has requested this right before, add (2)
to the end of the topic header. For users with multiple requests, add the respective number of the request. It is also considered good practice to link to previous requests for rights when making a further request.
