The worst thing about reading news articles on LEGO by most sites is all the puns. Well, as this a roundup, I won't try and make the article longer by throwing in brick puns. Instead I'll just build up a list of interesting links for you.

  • Movie News: Remember the LEGO Movie? No? Then you have probably just awoken from a coma, because it was everywhere back in whatever month that was. The sequel is coming May 26th 2017, (I was going to make a list of all the sequels and reboots and films based on video games we would have had by then, but it would have been longer than the article itself.) while the Ninjago "spin-off", as the press call it, will be released September 23rd 2016. It is to be written by the guys who do the show, but is said to be unrelated. I assume means we will still have Ninjago sets in 2016. Den of Geek
  • Ultra-specific local news alert: If you live near the Tesco in Chard, or the Asda, Tesco or Quedam (apparently a shopping centre) in Yeovil, and are free at ultra-specific times over the next three days (22nd to 25th May) and you have your receipt or home-delivery number and you want a "Star Wars spacecraft" or "City Police Helicopter" then go buy The Western Gazette. Western Gazette
  • Use LEGO in the title of the story to get people to read a local newspaper story of the week: A guy is doing 30 challenges for Teenage Cancer Trust, and one involves driving a car with LEGO on it. The LEGO is worth more than the car. Anyway, he stopped off at a school in Hexham, as it is well known that around 65% of all local news content involves something some school kids did. The Journal
  • The "most likely to cause sexist comments" story of the week: A Swedish man is selling his LEGO to save his marriage. Includes 300kg of blocks, 20kg of instructions, 44kg of wheels and tyres and a "practically complete collection of Lego space range". You only need 75000 kronor. And the ability to collect ~350kg of boxes from western Sweden. The Local

Just how long are they trying to keep Ninjago a thing, I wonder?

I'm still a bit confused as to why it and Chima coexist.

Because they made Chima before they realized people like Ninjago.

They're both doing well alongside each other so far. Both have been financial gains, which is good.
