Brickipedia News:Pirates 2015 Final Images

Ahoy, LEGO fans! That landlubber Just2Good has managed to smuggle some more images of 2015 booty with his secretive, sneaky tricks. Today's loot are images of ye 2015 Pirates sets, with a Juniors set thrown in fer good measure!

Images of 70411 Treasure Island have evaded Just2Good's purges, and still roam the seven seas. But the sly dog has revealed that he has captured pics of another theme with ship battles. Expect pictures of Star Wars sets sometime before high-tide! Brickipedia will keep ye all updated. Arr!

I love the Shipwreck Defense. Such a simple, but nice looking build. Also, dem minfigs!

The only set I think is wierd is the Juniors set. It looks like the pirate and the shark is plaing "catch & fetch":

- "Come here sharkie!"

While the skeleton creepily stares at you:

- "I'm just gonna sit here and stare creepily at you guys. You know, you could invite me to join your game ..."

I like the minifigures. They feel like updated classics, like the recent Johnny Thunder, than something entirely new. The sets aren't too interesting though. They are okay, and I hope that Pirate fans enjoy them, but it looks like a pass for me.

Hm, not only the the captain obviously an update of Redbeard, but the kid also looks a lot like Bo'Sun Will. That's pretty neat! I wonder if the female blue coat will turn out to be Camilla, or the commanding officer in the fort Governor Broadside. The female pirate in treasure island could be Bessie too. Those might be unlikely, would be neat throwbacks.
