Brickipedia News:Simpsons Series 2 minifigure list

Are you looking forward to the (tentatively named) 71009 The Simpsons Series 2? Or maybe you are dreading it, but still want to see the damage that is done. Hint: Variants for at least three members of the nuclear Simpsons family, plus their pets, and eleven new characters. The minifigures are:

Homer and Marge in their "Sunday best"
Bartman
Lisa with Snowball II
Maggie with Santa's Little Helper
Patty and Selma
Fallout Boy
Smithers
Comic Book Guy
Groundskeeper Willie
Edna Krabappel
Dr. Hibbert
Professor Frink
Hans Moleman
Martin Prince

RIP LMO, may god rest your soul

No, but seriously. I can see more raging, but we already knew that would happen. Then most likely these won't be in LMO, but I bet a lot of people will be mad about that, while the other 95% will be relieved. 75% of which have never played the game and have only discussed it because Simpsons = flame wars. Am I right?

On a side note, I do hope that this series runs parallel with Series 13 or 14. But sadly this seems not to he the case, as usual when one series is running, the next is discovered and then promptly announced by LEGO. Then near the end of the series, another is discovered (in this case the Simpsons #2). But we can hope, right?

I wouldn't mind so much if it wasn't taking the slot of a normal minifigure wave (or if it was something I actually liked)

I'm surprised by Fallout boy... We haven't gotten radioactive man yet. It could be an alternate Milhouse though, that would make sense. Anyway, these figures will look great next to the first one on my shelf!
