Brickipedia News:Watch nine new BIONICLE animations

Who needs an article with a title like that?
LEGO has updated their video site with 9 new BIONICLE videos. Just as advertised on the BIONICLE minisite, the first 3 episodes of the show are up. Also included in this bundle are 30-second bio videos for each Toa.
One of the issues with the old BIONICLE was the way that the story was split up between several different mediums such as books, podcasts, movies, comics, and online serials. At NYCC, we got confirmation that the new one would be told through one of the only ways that they had not tried previously: Mini animations. We were graced with "The Legend," which gives the backstory of the rebooted Makuta, plus Ekimu and Okoto. Well, now the next three animations ("Prophecy of Heroes," "The Arrival," and "Quest for the Golden Masks") continue the story chronicled in "The Legend" and introduce the Protectors.
The character videos are all essentially the same, going along the lines of "I am <Toa>. It is my destiny to fight evil, find my golden mask and become the master of <element>." Surprisingly, even though Gali is confirmed as female, the narrator is still male. On the plus side, Pohatu has an Australian accent. I guess they decided that because he has boomerangs he needs to be from down under. The mystery of where the Toa come from is solved.

What do you think? Do these animations instill hope in the reboot, or do you think they are a disgrace to BIONICLE?
