Detective Chimp is a DC Universe character who appears in LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham.

Background[edit | edit source]

Bobo is a chimpanzee trained to discover "crimes" as part of a traveling act until he goes off with his friend Rex the Wonder Dog and drinks from the Fountain of Youth and acquires, in addition to eternal youth, the ability to speak any language. He uses his new ability to become a true detective. He has worked with Batman and other great detectives on occasion.
