[List of appearances]

The FX-9 Surgical Assistant Droid was a droid used in assisting other medical droids, such as 2-1B medical droids, in surgical procedures. One FX-9 droid was present in the operation of Darth Vader to keep him alive from his injuries on Mustafar. Also, when Luke Skywalker was healed a Bacta Tank on Hoth after a Wampa injury a 2-1B Medical Droid named 2-1B helped get rid of the Wounds. This minifigure is exclusive and unique to 7251 Darth Vader Transformation. The minifigure also appears in two video games; LEGO Star Wars: The Video Game and LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga, in both games, it merely appears in one cut-scene, as Darth Vader is transformed. It is seen being destroyed, along with the other surgical equipment, in Darth Vader's anger. It is a non-playable character in both games.
