Aang is the titular character from Avatar: The Last Airbender.
Designer's notes
- When I made this figure three things were happening:
- I had recently rewatched Avatar: The Last Airbender in full and wondering how minifigures based on the characters would look today
- The Dimensions version of Beast Boy with his huge cartoon eyes had just been revealed
- The idea to create minifigures based on Over the Garden Wall, another animated series, was churning in me
- So I made Aang as a sort of experiment in doing cartoon characters. I had already done Helga Pataki, but that was years ago.
- There was also a Katara figure, but I never finished her because I couldn't decide on a hairpiece for her look in the first two seasons. Any ideas, or threats against me ever doing something like this again?
- For what it's worth, I'm not sure how well it works.
