Background
Dr Thomas Elliott, aka Hush, was an old friend of Bruce Wayne's from childhood. Despite his privileged upbringing, Elliott hated his father and plotted to kill him. Causing a car crash, he inadvertently caused the death of his mother, while his father survived. Thomas, from then on, hated the Wayne family.
Years later, Thomas Elliott becomes a surgeon and arrives in Gotham City, however he plots to bring down the sole survivor of the Wayne family, Bruce Wayne, by impersonating him through mutiliating parts of people's faces to be stitched together to create a face identical to Bruce Wayne's.
