The Superior Spider-Man (or just Spider-Man) is the alias that Doctor Otto Octavius took up while in Peter Parker's head.
Background
Anticipating his death, Otto Octavius, the villain known as Doctor Octopus, designed a machine that would transfer his mind into Spider-Man's. Once the procedure was completed, his thoughts were drowned out by Peter's, which caused him to become a hero.
