Wirt is a character from Over the Garden Wall.
Designer's notes
- What is it that possesses some of us to go "I like this character-- I want a minifigure?" It seems unhealthy when you get things like this.
- So I apologize if this horrifies you. Personally, I don't think my attempt is so bad even though I am slightly embarrassed.
- There were a few different ways I tried making the nurse's cape, including doing the entire thing with cloth. In the end, what you see is what I did. I can't remember exactly why I decided against it; either I think I got pretty far along in designing it and then decided that printing the buttons onto fabric seemed stupid. Why I thought that was stupid? I don't know. I'm an odd duck.
- It might have also been because I found using regular pieces more expressive, but that might also be after the fact justification.
- That's the Roman Emperor's hair with a teapot drilled in. I didn't even bother to remove the laurels because I wouldn't have a clue how. Thankfully they are sort of hard to see.
- The hat/hairpiece is a combination of the ones used for Fairytale Princess, Karai, and Will Turner; it might need tweaking, I was at a bit of a loss for what to do considering that the character has huge ears.
- Don't let my uncanny scarecrow figures turn you off from Over the Garden Wall--go see it!
