A Guardian is a figure from the Minecraft theme.

Guardians are hostile mobs that exclusively spawn underwater around an ocean monument. While in the proximity of a squid or a player, the mob will look in their direction and fire a charged laser to injure and attempt to kill. Unlike the squid, a Guardian may survive out of water, though it will bounce around on land. Upon death, the hostile Guardian will commonly drop prismarine shards, fish, or prismarine crystals at a lesser rate.
