325 Halvautomatisk Legetöjspistol (translated as The Semi-automatic Pistol), first produced as a wooden toy in 1945 and later as a Plastic Toy 1949, features a spring-loaded mechanism that could feed projectiles into the barrel from a magazine, allowing rapid firing.
Description[edit | edit source]
This set is a toy pistol that came in two colors as a wooden toy and several more upon its plastic release. The pistol itself is one part, not including projectiles. It measures 14 cm.
To load the pistol, ammunition could be inserted into the top of the gun. It held a maximum capacity of three projectiles.
Notes[edit | edit source]
- The design was so novel that Godtfred Kirk Christiansen had it patented by LEGO. This was the first toy the company ever had patented.
