Josh Thunder is a Dino minifigure introduced in 2012. He is the main protagonist of the Dino theme. According to the 2012 edition of The LEGO Book, he is a descendant of Johnny Thunder.

Josh Thunder is leader of the Dino Strike team. He rides a scout car and his favorite food is pizza. Josh Thunder least favorite dinosaur is the triceratops. He has caught fourteen dinos in one day!
