Story[edit | edit source]
Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull begins when Indy and his colleague George McHale, or Mac, are captured by a group of Russians led by Irina Spalko. They are enlisted to help the Russians find a crate containing alien remains. Indy escapes once Mac betrays him and finds Mutt Williams, the son of Marion Williams, formerly Marion Ravenwood, who was part of Indy's adventures with the Ark of the Covenant. Mutt says his mother is being held hostage by the Russians along with Harold Oxley, Indy's one-time colleague. Indy and Mutt are captured by the Russians and taken to where Marion and Oxley are being held. The Russians are in possession of the Crystal Skull of Akator and force Indy to help them find Akator itself.
Indy and his friends escape the Russians and find Akator, swiftly caught up by Spalko. She takes the skull from them and returns it to the twelve inter dimensional beings that it belonged to. They desire to give her a gift and she asks for all knowledge. She burns up as the beings return to the space between saves, leaving Indy and his friends unscathed.
