Notes[edit | edit source]
- LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 was affected by the 2016–2017 SAG-AFTRA voice actor strike. As a result, Stan Lee was the only actor to return from the previous game, with his lines sourced from archive recordings. The rest of the cast was replaced with non-union voice actors, primarily from the UK.
- In the mid-2010s, Marvel began heavily restricting the use of characters whose film rights were held by other studios, most notably 20th Century Fox, across both video games and comics. This appeared to be a potential form of protest, as Marvel had no legal obligation to do so and would have been allowed to use these characters.
- This is why, outside of Kang the Conqueror, no X-Men or Fantastic Four related characters were included in the game.
- Gwenpool makes a minor reference to Deadpool in the first bonus mission.
