[List of appearances]

Lava Monsters are the main antagonists of the second half of the Power Miners theme. Whenever a Rock Monster is submerged in lava, or otherwise melted, they turn into a Lava Monster, gaining great speed, dexterity and intelligence, but losing some of their former strength.

Description[edit | edit source]

Mini-monsters[edit | edit source]

Most Lava Monsters are molded similar to Rock Monsters, with the exception of the head. Where in Rock Monsters there were rocky protrusions, Lava Monsters wear trans-colored spikes that suggest lava or flames. On their bodies, most Lava Monsters have black printing that suggests burned rocks.

Mega-monsters[edit | edit source]

One specimen of Lava Monster, Eruptorr, is far larger than the rest, and shares features common with Geolix and Tremorox, such as large, immovable legs, separate-pieced arms, and one swinging 'catapult arm'. Eruptorr also has special holes in his head which allow flames to be attached. As well, his chin has special printing and molding that suggests 'lava drool' dripping down.

Characteristics[edit | edit source]

Lava Monsters are normally very hot-headed and prone to rage. Lava Monsters are also talented at letting out air in various ways from their body, as seen in the webisode Happy Burpday to You.
