LEGO Legends of Chima: Laval’s Journey is a Video Game released for Nintendo 3DS and PlayStation Vita in the summer of 2013 and for Nintendo DS in the fall of 2013.[1]
Story[edit | edit source]
During the monthly Speedor tournament, the lion prince Laval faces King Cragger the Crocodile in the final joust. The crocodile king wins and is presented the Golden Chi by Lagravis. Later, Laval is sulking about loosing when he spots a strange light coming from atop Spiral Mountain. He makes his way through the forest to investigate and finds the mountain filled with hostile crocodiles. He manages to fight them off and make it to the top where Laval finds Cragger and Crooler next to a strange machine holding the golden Chi. Cragger imprisons Laval in a cage, but the lion prince quickly breaks free using an orb of Chi and the two square off. Eventually, Cragger flees on his Speedor declaring that the triple chi power will be his. The machine explodes and thousand of Chi droplets are scattered across Chima. (Level 1, "Spiral Mountain")
Laval returns to the Lion Temple to find his father Lagravis furious that Chi is now scattered across the land and is now imbalanced. The lion prince tries to inquire about the triple chi power, but Longtooth reports that the Eagle Spire is under attack. Lagravis orders Laval there who finds that Eris has been taken captive by the wolves. Laval chases after them and eventually manages to free her. The two then proceed to the library and liberate the ruling council, minus Ewald. (Level 2, "Eagle Town")
Laval and Eris fight their way through the Eagle Spire until they reach the top where they find Worriz in possession of an Eagle interceptor while Ewald is guarded by Rukus and Runk. Laval and Eris manage to bring the jet down and free Ewald, but Worriz escapes using a Bellow Plant and holding the eagle's sacred chest armor. Ewald urges Laval to return to his father and tell him what has happened. Laval obeys and upon hearing the news, Lagravis orders Laval and Eris to the Gorilla Forest at once. (Level 3, "Eagle Library")
Arriving at the Gorilla Forest, Laval and Eris find the place infested by ravens and the gorillas hypnotized by flower machines. The two manage to destroy the machines and Gorzan leads them to the Gorrila's Grovy Glove.
