Baby was a theme of DUPLO from 1987 until its discontinuation in 1990. It came back in 2000 and was finally dropped in 2005. It was aimed for children aged 0–3 (Toddlers).

It was replaced briefly by Primo for 1996. The name Primo was later ditched and the theme became Baby. When it returned, it used the same bricks Primo used.

The Baby/Primo theme was essentially replaced by the Quatro theme, which is also aimed at babies and toddlers but also has the advantage of being compatible with DUPLO and regular System bricks.
