8539 Manas is a BIONICLE set released in 2001. It is the only Electronic BIONICLE set released, as well as the only remote-controlled one. It is one of the most expensive BIONICLE sets ever released.

- There was once an event at Toys R Us where players battled with Manas, winners receiving special Copper Masks of Victory.
- The Manas are remote controlled.
- The Manas can be combined to make a Mana-Ko.
- The set includes two Kanohi Komau masks and two Kanohi Ruru Masks.

Evil guardians of Makuta
The Manas, fearsome giant crabs, guard Makuta's lair and can only be defeated by Toa who have collected enough masks of power. Pit your strength against these mighty beasts, with the victor disabling his opponent. Set includes two remote-control Manas and two multi-channel handsets. 12 AA batteries required (not included).
