Meteor Blaster

Meteor Blasters (also known as Lava Sphere Shooters) are weapons used by most of the Hero Factory villains. They are similar to Thornax Launchers from BIONICLE. Two Hero sets contain Meteor Blasters, namely 7158 Furno Bike and 2282 Rocka XL. Rocka XL has a golden sphere, and the Furno Bike's two blasters, which are called Plasma Blasters, have red spheres.

Description

All Meteor Blasters have one thing in common: they are capable of shooting Zamor Spheres via a snapping effect created by squeezing two launcher pieces together. Based on the design used for Thornax Launchers, the Meteor Blasters instead use a simple ball instead of a Thornax. By squeezing together the two launcher parts, the ball can be shot at a distance governed largely by how close to the tip the parts are squeezed.
