Midi-scale

Midi-scale is a term used to describe sets or models that are between miniature and minifigure scale. As such, the sets do not include Minifigures, but often allow for considerably more details than miniature models.

The first set, 7778 Midi-scale Millennium Falcon, was released in 2009 as part of the Star Wars theme. The next year, the 8099 Midi-Scale Imperial Star Destroyer was released.
