Part 4697, also called the T-Piece or T-Bar, is a small part with three short bars arranged in the shape of a T. It is used primarily in the making of hinges.
Description[edit | edit source]
The T-Piece is centered around a small sphere in the centre, from which three short bars emerge. Two of these are in the same direction, with the third perpendicular. Because of this, the piece is two studs long and one stud wide. At the end of each is a hole into which pieces like a feather can be inserted. Like all parts from before 2004, Part 4697 was originally released in Grey. It was later changed to Medium Stone Grey and has remained only in this colour since.
