Penny is lives across the hall from Leonard and Sheldon. She is an actress and pharmaceutical rep who previously worked in a Cheesecake Factory restaurant. She is married to Leonard and took his last name, but her maiden name still remains a mystery. She grew up in a small town outside of Omaha, Nebraska.
