Penrod is a minifigure that appears in LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean: The Video Game.
Background[edit | edit source]
Penrod is the crew member of the Flying Dutchman under command of Davy Jones. He, as the most of the crew members, was turned into a half-crab, half-human. He is a small character and one of the four most trusted mates along with Maccus, Ratlin, and Angler His body was covered with numerous armoured plates. He was very short. In battle, he fights with a club and sometimes uses a knife. When Jones confronted Jack Sparrow on the Black Pearl, he held a knife to Marty's throat. He later watched the game of Liar's dice, played by Maccus, Koleniko and Clanker; and later by Davy Jones, Will Turner and Bootstrap Bill Turner. Penrod served on the Dutchman when Cutler Beckett took control over Davy Jones and his ship. He fought in the battle of Calypso's Maelstrom,and he turned into human again when Will Turner became a captain of the Flying Dutchman after Jones died, and helped the rest of the crew defeating Cutler Beckett and destroying his ship and armada of the East India Trading Company.
