Pierre Normandin is a City set designer at the LEGO Group.

Biography[edit | edit source]

Pierre Normandin was a LEGO fan as a child but stopped playing with the toy when he became a teenager. In the late 1990s, Pierre began searching the internet for LEGO fans in his area and found a group now known as QuéLUG (Québec LEGO Users Group). This made him revisit his interest in the toy and the AFOL community, where he later became a LEGO Ambassador for the first 4 cycles of the ambassador program. In 2007, Pierre was a part of the AFOL design team behind 10183 Hobby Trains. In 2008, Pierre joined the LEGO Group as a set designer for the City theme.

Prior to joining the LEGO Group as a set designer, Pierre Normandin worked as a designer for rival building toy company Mega Bloks.
