BIONICLE Playsets is a sub-theme of BIONICLE. Its sets are all made mostly of System bricks unlike the regular BIONICLE sets which are almost entirely made of TECHNIC parts. It was first released in 2005 with a few sets and continued through 2007. It has not had any appearances since due to the theme's discontinuation. The sets included minifigure versions of various BIONICLE characters.
