Introduction[edit | edit source]

Hey guys memez2002 here with my FIRST review! And I am thrilled to be reviewing a Juniors set. While it's gotten lots of hate and bad reviews I personally see a silver lining for this set and the Juniors line in general. Hopefully this review will make you want to buy this right after you read it!

Price[edit | edit source]

I'm disgraced about the price it's $12.99. I didn't think it was worth it after reading lots of reviews that said it was bad... I can't see why though it's a very good set.

So let's get onto the set!

The Box[edit | edit source]

The box is very small for a $12.99 set, so it's very small and barely has that many pieces included!

The front is basic it has the LEGO and Juniors logo on the top. The box also has a nice little graphic of him ripping right through the box. The info about the set (Which is listed above) is always as it has been. The model on the box shows off the "Spider-Car" and Venom! This set also includes a wall with an antenna. The background is just some city buildings.

Opening the box[edit | edit source]

The contents of the box were:

  • 1 Instruction booklet, which has the same artwork as the front of the box.
  • 2 One bag containing the pieces

The Minifigures![edit | edit source]

I speak the truth when I say "I always build the minifigures first", it's pretty normal for me.

Spider-Man He is identical to all his other appearances, The printing on the torso is great! It shows a detailed web design. The suit has no leg printing but the same speedo thing that Superman has.

Venom It's onto Venom who is great in my opinion! The face is nice but has no hair piece. The torso is great for LEGO army customizers or customizers in general. it features a large spider and abs. The only thing I don't like is the accessory he holds, I don't mind him the way LEGO made him though. Lastly he has some very nice black legs.

The Build[edit | edit source]

The build was very simple and is easy for everyone, I like the shape of the vehicle too. Nothing really bad about the build other than it was a small build for a 12.99$ set. I just wish they worked on the wall more because I don't think it holds the web well enough with only one clip. The car is pretty cool but I don't understand it honestly. Why make so many spider vehicles?

My thoughts[edit | edit source]

So I have come down the this ending. . .

  • Build 4/10 It was very easy so I docked it points because of it.
  • Minifigures 6/10 The Spider-man included is the same as every other one and the Venom minifigure just has less accessories than his predecessor.
  • Pieces 7/10 A couple nice new pieces such as the car body. If you just just wanted to create a MOC this would be a great set.
  • Box 5/10 It was nothing special, there was not a lot of features show don the back of the product's box.
  • Play features 7/10 It isn't much of a pursuit considering Venom's lack of vehicle, but still has great play-ability.

END SCORE 29/50 Pretty bad. If you like Spider man this is kind of your only choice for juniors. If you don't want the set it's OK but I think the main part of the set is some of the pieces out of it for older audiences.
