Sibo the First
Hey guys! Can you feel the water? Well, his time I'm going to do a Kakama-Review (Speed-Review) of 8570 Gali Nuva and 8586 Macku! These are some good old sets, so if you has a memory of playing with these then you've had a great childhood, as long as the joints didn't crack ... Well, let's get onto the review! I'm going to review these two together, so keep an eye up for details! Ah, the nostalgia ...
Kanohi
The Kanohi Masks you get in these sets are the Kaukau Nuva, featured on Gali, and the Huna, featured on Maku. Mmmm, Macku then. The Kaukau looks ... Interesting, I can see the connection with the old Kaukau, but this Kaukau looks Cowcow-ish and is a solid blue. It's more, Hau-ish, I feel. The Huna is the same that the one Turaga Vakama wears, but is of course in blue to match the element.
Weapons
Now, weapons. Gali features two Aqua Axes, which are really cool. They can attach to her feet and become flippers. Macku has a Kolhii stick and a Kolhii ball. Not really a weapon, but I'm sure a visit to the doctor would be nice if you had been beaten with one.
Colours
The colours are important for BIONICLE characters. They describe their elements, and sometimes also their personality and theme. These two have the element of Water, which would mean they'd be blue. But both also feature medium blue, to add a little variety. black is also a minor colour, but not really important in this case. Gali also features a little bit of silver, which adds the little epic-warriorness to it all.
