The Simpsons is a theme introduced in 2014, based on the popular animated TV sitcom.[1][2][3] The first wave consisted of a set depicting the family home and a collectable minifigure series. The theme concluded in 2015 with the release of a second series of minifigures and a set depicting the Kwik-E-Mart. A LEGO-themed Simpsons episode, titled "Brick Like Me" aired in May 2014.

- A parody of LEGO, Blocko, has appeared in several episodes of The Simpsons. LEGOLAND also appeared in the episodes "C.E. D'oh" and "Eeny Teeny Maya, Moe".
- The release of the theme coincides with the 25th anniversary of the show.
- A couch gag which played during the opening theme of the episode "Midnight Towboy" featured LEGO-built versions of the Simpson family and their living room.
