Star Sapphire is a DC Universe Super Heroes character who appears in LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham.

Background[edit | edit source]

Carol Ferris used to be a pilot, but, after her father retired, she gave it up to run the family business (Ferris Aircraft, a company in Coast City that makes aircrafts). She hired her childhood friend, Hal Jordan, as a test pilot. Soon after Hal became a Green Lantern, Carol found herself possessed by a Star Sapphire gem. The gem gave her power, but also took over her mind to often very bad effect, causing her to become a supervillain. After the formation of the Star Sapphire Corps however, Carol has been able to remain herself and act as a hero, as well as Hal's love interest. She leads the Zamaron Army. Her power is superior to the Red Lantern corps.
