Creature[edit source]

Should Dobby (and things like Dementors and Goblins) have the creature line added to the infobox despite being pretty much normal minifigures? I kind of think we should, but at the same time, I imagine that we wouldn't do that for things like aliens or the castle trolls and those cases aren't so totally different. Bumping because this was lost in an edit blitz. :P Berrybrick (talk) 18:28, 9 August 2015 (UTC)

I think our creature section means everything that isn't a human. Soupperson1 Friends are Forever! <3Friends girls.jpg

For Dobby and the goblins, I would say keep at minifigures- if they've got the minifigure "shape" which is the most important thing- I think the OOU side of things (being made of minifigure pieces) would take precedence over anything "in-universe" (not being human). If you're basing it solely on whether they're human, most of the LOTR minifigs would be under "creatures" (Hobbits, Dwarves, Elves, etc), which would make no sense. And who said you had to be human to be a minifigure anyway. Dementors I'm not so sure of, they're a tricky one- they have their own leg piece and they're more "creature"-like. I could probably go either way on that one. NovaHawk 22:48, 9 August 2015 (UTC)
Ooh I didn't think of LOTR, okay then we can make him a minifigure. :P According to some book (25 years a minifigure or something) skeletons aren't minifigures and Dementors are built similarly to skeletons. Soupperson1 Friends are Forever! <3Friends girls.jpg
After thinking about it, I think I'd class Dementors as creatures because they are in-universe...otherwise, I might consider them minifigures, because I think of skeletons that way. Skeletons aren't really creatures. (Though, if Soup is right, maybe that isn't official. :P ) Berrybrick (talk) 22:34, 10 August 2015 (UTC)
