Template:External info
- This documentation is transcluded from Template:External info/doc. (edit | history)
- This template has a sandbox (edit) for editors to experiment.
This template adds external links to the respective pages on Peeron, Lugnet and Brickset. This template automatically pulls the set ID from the page title. If the page title doesn't have the set ID as the first parameter (as in 7772 Lobster Strike), you must include it in the template call.
The template will always link to Brickset and Peeron automatically. It will only link to others if you flag them in the template call.
Please check beforehand if the instructions are available on the external site before flagging or de-flagging them.
Usage[edit source]
{{External info |peeron = |lugnet = |shop = }}
Examples[edit source]
{{External info |peeron = no }}
produces:
{{External info |brickset = no |lugnet = yes }}
produces:
{{External info |lugnet = yes |shop = yes }}
produces:
{{External info |peeron = yes |peeroninstructions = yes |lugnet = yes }}
produces:
If a set does not link properly to the external page (due to the Brickipedia's article title, as an example), instead of using |brickset =
, |lugnet =
and |peeron =
, use the following instead:
{{External info |bricksetname = |peeronname = |lugnetname = }}
Add the correct article name of the corresponding external website, it will link directly to it in the most cases (if not, it will show a list of suggestions).
If there are two sets with the same set number, add a new section with the set number and a -1
for the first set, a -2
for the second set etc. listed on Brickset or Peeron. Check first, which set has which number.
{{External info |7394-1 |peeron = yes |lugnet = |shop = }}
or
{{External info |1830-2 |peeron = yes |lugnet = |shop = }}
Or use the option with adding the external websites' article title manually, as seen above.
