A Stormtrooper is a minifigure first released in 2001, based on the soldiers of the Galactic Empire from the Star Wars universe. To date, a total of ten different variants of Stormtrooper have been made with appearances in over twenty sets. Stormtroopers have also appeared as playable characters in all four LEGO Star Wars video games.
